TRUPCR® MTB Kit (Nested single step Real-time PCR) is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification assay for the qualitative detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC). It is an assay that utilizes two sequential polymerase chain reactions to detect low load of Mycobacterium DNA in human clinical samples, both pulmonary and extra- pulmonary. Each test is a multiplex reaction with three independent reactions running in parallel in which two targets are for Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) detection in Hex/Yellow channel and one for internal control (IC) detection in Tex Red/orange channel.
