The TRUPCR® Respiratory Bacterial Pathogen Panel Kit is a Real-Time PCR based assay intended for the qualitative detection of 14 key bacterial pathogens directly from respiratory specimens such as bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), tracheal aspirate, sputum, and nasopharyngeal aspirates in VTM vials. An endogenous internal control is integrated into every reaction to monitor PCR performance and sample adequacy. The results must be interpreted in the context of all clinical and laboratory findings.
