Test Overview
TRUPCR® ABL Standards Kit is designed to enable accurate calibration and quantification of the ABL1 control gene in RT-qPCR workflows. Precisely defined standards are provided for producing reliable standard curves, allowing consistent and reproducible control gene measurement.
The kit includes five plasmid-based ABL1 standards at defined concentrations: 10⁶, 10⁵, 10⁴, 10³, and 10² copies per reaction. These tenfold serial dilutions provide a broad dynamic range for robust normalisation and validation in quantitative PCR assays.
Principle and Application
The kit is used alongside RT-qPCR assays to establish a standard curve for ABL1 transcript quantification. Defined concentrations allow accurate determination of control gene copy number in test samples.
Five standards (10⁶ to 10² copies per reaction) are used to generate the calibration curve, supporting precise quantification and assay performance validation. The standards are compatible with ABL-specific primers and probes and are recommended to be run in duplicate for high-confidence results.
This kit is intended to support the detection and quantification of fusion transcripts such as BCR-ABL1 e13a2, e14a2, e1a2, and e19a2 when used in conjunction with other assays from the TRUPCR® BCR-ABL portfolio:
