Test Overview
The TRUPCR® BCR-ABL1 Control Kit is designed to support the monitoring, calibration and quantification of BCR-ABL1 p210 fusion transcripts (e13a2 and e14a2) by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). The kit provides defined standards for generating standard curves, alongside a cDNA Control and an IS-MMR Calibrator to support assay performance monitoring and the assessment of molecular response.
Principle and Application
The TRUPCR® BCR-ABL1 Control Kit is intended for use only in conjunction with the TRUPCR® BCR-ABL1 Quantitative Kit. The supplied standards are used to generate calibration curves for BCR-ABL1 transcript quantification, while ABL1 measurement supports the assessment of control gene copy number. The cDNA Control and IS-MMR Calibrator provide additional controls for monitoring assay performance and supporting conversion of results to the International Scale (IS). Reverse-transcription reagents are not included.
